Pablo Azua Contreras

Pablo is a Chilean geologist, passionate about mountains and their processes. He studied geology at the University of Concepción, and later pursued studies in environmental legislation at the Catholic University of Temuco. He is currently enrolled in a master’s program in Territorial Planning and Geography at the Alberto Hurtado University, where he has focused on waste management studies in the Aysén Region. In his professional career, he has worked as an environmental consultant in paleontology on projects throughout Chile. Additionally, he has been involved in Earth Science educational projects with students and teachers. Pablo is a member of the Education Group of the Geological Society of Chile, where he has been actively involved since 2014.
