Biography

Claire holds an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Management from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University. Her previous work focused on identifying and overcoming barriers to conservation impact by improving communication, engagement, and research practices. She specializes in human-wildlife coexistence and has studied conflict and coexistence systems for large carnivores around the world, with a particular focus on North America and Africa.
