Everyone has made it safe ‘n sound to Maun, Botswana! It is great to have everyone here and we have been getting to know each other while staying at a hostel on the Thamalakane River. We took a walk this afternoon, in hopes that we might see a hippo; we didn’t, but did see many beautiful birds!

Tomorrow we head out to our field camp, about 3hr from Maun, in the southwest outskirts of the Okavango Delta.
