Application Information & Procedures PDF Print E-mail

Round River student programs are open to students who possess a keen interest in participating in a field conservation effort. For each program, Round River selects five to ten student field research assistants. These small crews ensure high quality instruction and data collections, and limit our footprint on the environment.

Individuals who are currently in good standing in an undergraduate degree program, have successfully completed an undergraduate degree or entering their Gap Year are encouraged to apply. Applications are reviewed and accepted individually on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Students are required to submit the following to Round River to be considered for our programs:

  • An application form, either online or by mail
  • One official college transcript
  • A $50 application fee

Please note:

Interested students are encouraged to apply early due to limited availabilty

    We recommend you:

  • Apply by February 15th for Summer programs
  • Apply by May 15th for Fall Programs
  • Apply by October 15th for Spring programs
  • Apply by October 1st for January Term programs
  • Depending on applicant numbers, applications may be accepted after the above dates.

Also your university may have its own deadlines for study abroad programs. Check with your study abroad office for this information.
