Round River works directly with a travel agent, Vickie Lockwood, that will arrange your transportation to and from your program location. You will be responsible for payment of your own travel arrangements with Vickie. We have found her to be reliable, and her services are crucial when dealing with the type of traveling you will be doing. She will also work to get the entire group traveling on the same flight to the program area. Her contact information is below.

Please note that you must send your itinerary to Round River as soon as it is booked. Namibia itineraries are required for Namibia visa applications; Namibia students will need to purchase tickets approximately 50 days before the program begins. Please note that for each semester program you will be on a 90 day visa; if you wish to travel before or after the program you must inform Round River. It is preferred that if you wish to travel in country, you do so after the Round River program. Students are responsible for any personal visas beyond the program, or fees concerning overstayed visas. Students are also responsible for any costs incurred during travel, including checked baggage fees, food and lodging fees due to lengthy layovers or delayed/cancelled flights. Travel insurance is recommended.
