All Round River students are required to complete the following paperwork before participating in our programs.

Paperwork is due 60 days before the program start date.

  • Medical Form (requires doctor's appointment; signed by you, your physician, and your parent/guardian if you are under 21)
  • Risk and Release Form (signed by you)
  • Responsibility Form (signed by you)
  • Copies of your health insurance cards
  • Flight itinerary
  • For Namibia students only: We will need your visa application materials, including your passport, sent to our main office approximately 45 days before program starts. We will send detailed information to you regarding this process. Your tickets must be purchased before you can submit your visa application.

Forms are due on the following deadlines:

  • Fall programs: July 20th
  • Namibia/Botswana Spring programs: December 14th
  • Patagonia Spring program: November 16th
  • Summer programs: April 30th

You must turn in the forms by these deadlines. If you require an extension, you must contact us BEFORE the deadline to make arrangements. We appreciate your cooperation in getting your forms in on time.

Below are the Information Packets for each of our programs.  Each manual provides background information on the research done in your program area, general information about where you will be during the program, what activities you will be participating in, travel and visa information, and Round River's student conduct policies.  You  will also find a detailed packing list, and a list of required and recommended books for your program.
