Manuela Méndez Herranz
Conservation Scientist, Patagonia Lecturer
Manuela holds a BS in Biology at the Universidad Católica and an MSc in botany from the University of Concepción. She has worked in different long-term socio-ecological projects in Magallanes, Chiloé, Santiago and Colombia doing research, conservation and environmental education. Her research interests include: plant ecology, positive interactions and environmental ethics. Manuela has also worked as a nature/mountaineer guide. She began assisting with our Patagonia program in early 2017.
