Conservation Scientist, Patagonia & Costa Rica Instructor
Elizabeth holds a BS in biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and an MSc in biological oceanography from Oregon State University, where she studied the effects of ocean acidification on bivalves in the California Current Ecosystem. She has a diverse set of field experiences including work in the Chesapeake Bay, the West Indies, Costa Rica, and The Gambia (West Africa). Elizabeth was originally acquainted with Round River as a student on the Ecuador program in 2009 and is returned to Round River as an instructor in September of 2014. She has been leading programs in Patagonia and Costa Rica since then.
